NOLA Rugby Enterprise LLC, also known as NOLA GOLD Rugby, is excited to announce the successful closing of its Series A financing round, led by Intervalle Capital LLC, which will become the new majority owner. Joining Intervalle Capital are prominent local investors, signaling a robust commitment to the club’s future. These investors include Gordon Stevens, Anthony Gastearl, Sean Kennedy, Hugh Evans, Raymond Alan Dargan, Kerry Denny, and Benoit Vaz, the current General Manager of ASM Clermont.

In a significant show of support, founding partners Tim Falcon, Robert Israel, and Michael and Brook Kerrigan have also reinvested in the club during this Series A round. This strategic infusion of capital and expertise from such esteemed figures marks a significant milestone as the club embarks on a journey of transformative growth and professional development. Concurrently, NOLA Gold Rugby is in the exciting position of potentially qualifying for the Major League Rugby playoffs for the first time, underscoring a season of exceptional performance and growth.

With this new phase, NOLA Gold Rugby is proud to unveil its restructured board of directors. The new board will consist of five distinguished members, including two executive seats held by representatives from Intervalle Capital, and two advisory roles. Tim Falcon, the founder of NOLA Gold, will continue to lend his visionary leadership as an executive board member.

We are pleased to welcome Sean Kennedy as the new advisory board member overseeing finance and accounting. His extensive expertise in financial management will be invaluable to the club’s strategic operations. Additionally, Anthony Gastearl will join as an advisory board member responsible for community outreach and development, reinforcing our commitment to community engagement and growth.

The primary mission of the newly formed board is to reorganize and introduce a more professional structure within the club. Key initiatives will include the development of ‘NOLA Vision 2031,’ a strategic blueprint aimed at defining the long-term trajectory and objectives of NOLA Gold Rugby, ensuring sustained growth and success.

In addition, we announce that our current CEO, Van Galinghouse, will transition to a consulting role to ensure continuity and strategic alignment during this transformative period. The recruitment for a new CEO to lead the next phase of our development will commence immediately.

“This is a pivotal moment for NOLA Gold Rugby,” said Tim Falcon. “With the support of Intervalle Capital and our new investors, we are poised to redefine our organizational framework and set a new standard for professional rugby in the United States.”
