exclusive Pre-match Insights
After an embarrassing result against Utah in Round 3, we had the opportunity to reflect during the scheduled bye week. Some hard truths were delivered across all aspects of what we’ve been doing. This allowed us to reset, draw a line in the sand, and start fresh.
With only three games played in the competition, there’s no need to panic, but we recognize the need for a slight shift in our approach.
New England, the two-time champions, will be a tough challenge, especially on the road, but we need to step up. We know the physicality is coming, so we must fight fire with fire, come out of the blocks fast, and maintain that mindset for the full 80 minutes—something we’ve struggled with in the first three games. Our accuracy is paramount, but we also need to be physical and disciplined. These three focus areas must be top-notch if we are to come away with the win.
Stick with us, NOLA Gold fans. We know we haven’t delivered yet, but the boys are working hard to get it right and make y’all proud.
