exclusive Pre-match Insights
It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally arrived! The 2025 MLR competition.
For a new head coach coming into an organization, there is always be a feeling out period. New staff, new players, a new city, and a new environment. We have managed to get through this window seamlessly and in fact, thriving.
Our retention and recruitment plan in the off-season enabled us to assemble a very competitive squad that will put us in a good position to perform in 2025.
First up this season, we face Anthem, and being back home to start the season in front of our faithful home crowd is exactly where we wanted to be. It will be a match that both teams want to start well, but know there could still be a few teething problems knowing it’s been a fairly short pre-season. New combinations and structures may take a little time, but we feel confident that we can get our game going and put on an exciting display for our fans.
There’s been a buzz throughout the city with entertainment overload but revel in the spirit of our own Mardi Gras NOLA Gold theme day. It’ll be a day of fun, so get along, get loud, get proud, and support our team in our first match of the season. They will need it!
