Coach’s Corner, Week 6: NOLA GOLD Vs LOS ANGELES

Mar 20 — 2025

Coach's Corner Week 6
exclusive Pre-match Insights

After four weeks away from the ‘Shrine,’ we are back! Back on home soil and back in front of our faithful supporters. It’s been a tough stretch on the road, and we’d be the first to admit we have been underperforming. The narrow loss last week to New England really hit hard, especially after a competitive 79 minutes, but we now know we can compete with the best and definitely took a big step forward in all aspects of the game.

We still need to continue growing individually and collectively, improving our discipline and accuracy, but we know we have the ability to beat any team in this competition. The connections are strengthening, and we are close to finding our groove.

We face an L.A. team coming off a strong performance last weekend. They are a team that loves to use the ball and have threats across the park. We have prepared well this week and look forward to the challenge ahead, especially back at home in front of our fans. That extra boost of support at home is exactly what we need to get this game across the line and secure the much-needed points.

The old saying goes…

“If you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, go together.”

We want to go far in this competition—so we ALL need to go together.
