NOLA GOLD UNVEILS CITY JERSEYS
NOLA Gold Rugby is excited to announce the launch of its City Kits, a bold new addition to the team’s lineup. The all-black kit draws inspiration from New Orleans’ unique wrought iron architecture, reflecting the city’s rich history and cultural heritage. The new jerseys are a tribute to the city’s heart while giving back to the community. The team will wear them for at least three matches this season, including the Battle Royale on June 7th versus the Free Jacks.
The stunning new design features intricate, black-on-black detailing inspired by the iconic ironwork adorning many of the city’s most beloved structures, particularly throughout the French Quarter. The sleek and modern aesthetic embodies the strength, resilience, and artistic spirit of New Orleans, making it a perfect representation of the NOLA Gold team’s connection to the city.
To celebrate the release, a special auction will open the second week of April, offering fans the chance to bid on the jerseys worn by the players during the matches. The auction will run through June 7th, coinciding with the season’s final match, the Battle Royale. Proceeds from the auction benefit Son of a Saint.
In addition to the auction, limited-edition replicas of the city jerseys and city-themed shirts will be available in the NOLA Gold Pro Shop and on the team’s website. These exclusive items will be available in limited quantities, so fans are encouraged to act fast to get their hands on these unique pieces of team history.
