Our final match of the season is against the New England Free Jacks at Home.
We’re back on the road against our old rival Chicago. They have dominated our conference and have become the benchmark team of the MLR.
This is a must-win match for us. After a tough stretch of matches, we’ve slipped down the table and now find ourselves in a battle to keep our season alive. With three matches remaining in the regular season—against some of the best teams in the league—we need to get a lot right, and fast.
Here we go again, round two against Old Glory DC, but this time with a tight turnaround of four days from our last game.
After a hard-fought battle against San Diego where effort was never in question, we’re back home on a quick five-day turnaround, ready to take on Miami. The boys love being home and are looking forward to getting a little pay-back from our 2nd round loss in Miami.
After a solid performance against Seattle, where we picked up a bonus point win, we are now back on the road and off to the West Coast to take on San Diego Legion.
A collective effort is needed against a Seattle team that started the season slowly but are on the up and can be a threat to any team in this competition.
After last week’s performance we can now believe in ourselves. We know we have the team and the ability to go out there and perform against any opposition. The result was pleasing, but the process to get that result was more impressive where we can now see our DNA being stamped on these games. This week we need to have back to back performances but will be up against a very good Houston team that will be hurting from their loss last weekend.
